30 days of yoga- Day 2: stretch & soothe

I just finished day two of the 30 day yoga challenge!


I will say it burned in more places this time than I did yesterday but that really doesn’t come as much of a surprise. There is a fulfillment that comes with setting out to start something and following through. That coupled the stretching just really solidifies that this is a really good thing to do inwardly and outwardly.

My abs are kind of on fire! I didn’t realize how out of shape I was!

I have been using my own mantra of “be still” during the challenge when my legs start to feel shaky and I am about to break from a particularly difficult pose.


Today I had a few “oh shit” moments and she’d be like “just hold for one big breath!” And I was like “OMG 😵” but over all I’m feeling good and that is the entire point of this.

How are you feeling on day two? Did you struggle (like I did) with finding time to go through with this for another day? Isn’t it amazing how very little time is mothers give ourselves for wellness? I am hoping that through this challenge I find ways to make my wellness a priority in my own life.
