So if any of you know me very well you’d know that my family here in Northern California was evacuated due to the Oroville Dam’s emergency spillway failing. So while she was staying in my home like a refugee, I got this cute picture of her dog in “downward dog” on my yoga mat!
So coupling these two days together was actually very easy they were definitely focused more on restorative energy and resting your body.
One thing I am learning is that yoga FEELS good and is my wellness, but the weight loss element is on a different level.
I’m thinking I might have to switch things up a bit and use the yoga as a warm-up and then fit some cardio in there to sweeten the deal.
I’m thankful for the time I took for myself today. My wellbeing is important, and I am a better mother because of this. Self care is crucial- you can’t pour from an empty cup!
So tomorrow I am returning to my one-a-day practice for the remainder of the challenge. Almost there!!
